Jesus, shit like this is exactly why I stopped coming to this forum years ago. I can understand the hate for VOY, ENT, and perhaps TNG S1, but a lot of this sentiment just seems like irritating historical revisionism.

First TNG S1 is the best TNG (while S3 can be argued), second it has nothing in common with Voyager

third, revisionist history? WTF? TNG peaked with BOBW p1, p2 was another example of WHOOPS we have to finish a story, but never had one, its a weak 2nd half and while OK nothing to write home about, and yes I 'd rather watch Lights - more drama & tension

TNG S1&2 were the worst - and the last - seasons of Star Trek.

I see your point though find TNG's S1, 2, 3 each having a different flavor

TNG S1 = TOS lite
TNG S2 = Some episodes TOS lite, others just lame and poor almost unwatchable, and the tone changed from S1
TNG S3 = The last semblance of true TOS - a hybrid season of MT and TOS lite
