Star Trek passings

That was a memorable episode.

He was also in an episode of THE OUTER LIMITS called "THE DEPROGRAMMERS", along with Brent Spiner. Excellent and very memorable episode, especially the end. One of my favorites from that show.

R.I.P.

Alan Scarfe
He played two different Romulans on TNG and an alien of the week on Voyager. Memory Alpha page.
If you're Canadian, you might remember him from this Canadian Heritage commercial, which also features Stargate's Don S Davis (General Hammond)

Sorry to hear that. I'd seen him in a lot of other TV work in the 2000's,usually playing sketchy characters. He had an arc on "NYPD Blue" playing the ex-husband of one of the detectives, who ends up being a lowlife criminal. He was also in an episode of "Cold Case" (funnily enough, one of the detectives mentions "Mr. Spock" in a conversation with him).

He was also married to Barbara March, who played Lursa, one of the Duras sisters. (Meaning he married a Klingon both on the show and in real life!)

And yes, I've seen that Heritage Minute. I'd recognized Don S. Davis before, but not him.

Alan Scarfe has passed, age of 77. Played Admiral Mendak in the TNG episode 'Data's Day' and also in a Voyager episode.

Only just saw that sad post about Erich Anderson.
RIP.
Good dependable guest star with some great roles on great shows.

Same goes for Alan Scarfe.
I always thought that there would be more to Mendak(the mendacious).

Tho he was the only black man drafted into the service for 1.5 years when other players were not. If he had not been drafted, he may have made another 70 plus home runs during that time, making him hold a record for far longer than he did. Racism along with baseball politics did him in.
