I shall start with this one. Who remembers Spartakus and the sun beneath the sea?

Never saw the "Spartakus..." one!
I was too old to be watching Nickelodeon (English Version airing in "86-'87)
Interesting, it is originally French

Yep!
...pity the fool..."

He lived in a toney North Suburb...cut down a whole slew of trees because they blocked his view...he got some pushback from the community on that little maneuver!~

I don't recall seeing the Smurfs or Robotech here either.
G I Joe seemed to be mostly on video at the local store, though He-Man (and spinoffs), Transformers, Thundercats and Dogtanian were regularly aired.

M.A.S.K, Centurions and Pole Position were usually on too though not as often as the others.

I did enjoy Ulysses 31 and Mysterious Cities of Gold.

I wonder if the laser sword is the reason no one has touched the property? Afraid of being sued, first by Lucas, then by Disney.

Thundarr was a product of the times, meaning it had serious SW overtones. Thundarr himself was a buff Luke Skywalker with a lightsaber, only shaped like a lightning bolt for obvious copyright reasons. Ookla was obviously influenced by Chewie (though more reminiscent of Zeb in Rebels, actually), and then there was "Princess" Ariel. (All before we knew Leia was Luke's sister...)

It ran in 1980, the year ESB came out. SW was everywhere.

This was probably my favorite from that era:

I was about 12 when I saw Star Blazers the first time, after living on navy bases my whole life and starting to develop my interest in naval aviation, so this one was a big hit with me.

There is no theme out there, like that theme. It is, literally perfection. Either in the original Japanese or the Americanized version.

I've also enjoyed the updates of the last few years.

My very first pet was named Nova.
