Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

No, California, probably should have mentioned they were shipped overseas.
WOW! That's an order of magnitude more impressive if it got there that quick from such a distance. I mean, it takes several days alone getting through customs at the package black hole in Newark, much less taking into account actual travel time.

I wonder if they've taken the Eaglemoss route and started opening up domestic warehouses for logistics and distribution again. If so, then that kind of investment may indicate they intend to be in it for the long haul (but with a more measured approach than its predecessor took). Either way, it's very good news for the ship line.

Well, they seem to have skimped a little on the fact-checking.

Well, it may be about to get worse. There's new information on Master Replicas' Stargate puddle jumper here, and the CAD model they've prepared seems to have a pretty serious flaw. The engine intakes, which are obviously supposed to protrude from the front of the engine pods, are below them instead. They're presumably separate parts on the CG model and somehow weren't moved upwards together with the rest of the engine. Imagine a model airplane that looks like this:

The file name in the video indicates that this model was already being worked on in 2021, so I guess this is technically not Master Replicas' fault. I hope they're going to fix it, but then again it already says "approved"...

I'd like a Puddle Jumper model. Hopefully, it isn't humongous. Always weirds me out when shuttlecraft/smallcraft vehicles are large.
Any current discount codes going?

Oops, forgot to respond to you — no, this was delivered from the UK and it went through NY. I live near San Francisco and have been lucky in the past with international orders processed through SFO instead of LAX or JFK, but this has to be a record (both transit times through JFK and that MR actually mailed something the next day instead of a week, which was probably the soonest previously, lol).

Well... still nothing from Gameprint/Integral Reality. So I'm guessing I'm one of the "mandatory refund" guys.

I totally forgot about that, guess I'm in the same boat. My fault really, @Markonian gave us plenty of fair warning they were shutting things down and I still waited until the last minute to place my final order.

I emailed them last night to inquire (enquire?) about the status of my three October orders. Not known which email is there current one, I used all four:

What a horrible time to not have disposable income.

That’s my default setting

Car mechanics always seem to know the rare days I have a few pennies to rub together and whistle up the demon that resides in my Buick that I must pay obeisance to:

“He thought he was going to the hobby store today huh?”

ZOT!

~@)(/)&”!

A new mall (THE SUMMIT) had just opened years ago and Barnes & Noble was a flagship.
I was about to get off the interstate when my hand-me-down 1984 LTD decided to have an epileptic fit.

The 80 bucks I had in my pocket went to the tow truck driver.

My supervisor at work always comes in two hours late—but I can’t complain because she had to drive me to work while my car was in the shop the last time in exchange for me working my shift and hers both.

Sigh…

Yeah, I owe Markonian thanks for the heads-up about that (thanks Markonian!). There were quite a few ships at GamePrint I was interested in and was about to place some orders, but when I learned in this thread they were ending them, fears of long delays and cancelled orders made me not pull the trigger.
:sigh:

https://www.vocabulary.com/dictiona...sance is an act, refers to bowing or kneeling.

I feel your pain. Car techs must be Betazoid that way...

I've set aside a sum for the future Armstrong. That's the only ship left I will add to my collection. Whenever it gets released...

Master Replicas just sent out an email explaining that their license to distribute the Eaglemoss Star Trek ships ends on June 15th. They're going to be running sales until then to clear their stock; this week is for Starfleet ships, three for the price of two or five for the price of three. Also, judging from their website, they're taking an expansive view of the word "ship," I see the Haynes Enterprise Manual and magazine binders are included in the current sale.

Has anyone who was still waiting on a Gameprint/Integral Reality order had anything from them about a refund? Because I've still heard nothing.

there just isn’t anything there I want bad enough to wait 6 weeks to get. Plus the prices still seem way high for a lot of the stuff.

I’ve emailed them at the start of the month. No response to me. According to the Facebook group, the customer communication staff is gone, just regular staff left. But they might pick up some email.

Which Facebook group is that? Could you ping me a link?
