Im finally done with Seasons 1 and 2. They were good but the whole they spent too much time in both seasons dealing with the MacGuffin Red Angel. that and they spent too much time focusing on Tilly. Meanwhile that black dude and the Asian guy ended up like they were the silent new Sulu and Chekov pilots for the Discovery ship

Excuse me but I have watched both Season 1 and 2. Both shows involved the mysterious Red Angel which was the show's on and off MacGuffin. That and Spock. Then Season 2 turning Leland into a typical cliche of a shady secret ops character turning more "evil" by being possessed by evil sentient nanbots A.I. where the AI is trying to rule the Galaxy yada yada. That crap I've seen in like a dozen sci Fi movies before.

Sorry, but you're conflating the two since Season 1 ends with the rendezvous with the Enterprise but not seeing any crew.
Pretty sure they did. Regardless, the S2 premiere (which you must have seen) has a scene where both characters literally state their names directly to the camera.

who frikkin cares. The Red Angel was still the frikkin MacGuffin of the show. it was interesting til it was revealed it was the mother supposedly. what bothers me a little about that is how did the mother not even know about the signals anyway? Either she was lying or that she really didn't know

That bothered me a lot. Except for when Spock was a kid, all the time the Red Angel showed up to help Michael, it was actually Michael herself in the second suit. Their whole plan was based on the idea that if Michael was about to die, the Red Angel would show up, they were almost completely wrong to think that, and no one noticed that they were just lucky that they misread the evidence but still drew a correct conclusion because there was a second Red Angel (who was actually the first Red Angel).
Yeah, the whole time travel aspect definitely through the arc for a loop.

The move to the 32nd century has more to do with appearances than anything. It's all the future, so much of context is in fan's heads. The real changes in Discovery happened because of the new showrunner.
The Red Angel was one of those things that just makes no sense and is a great example of why setting this show in the 23rd century was nonsensical.

The time suit was a prototype, and there was only one. It wasnt perfected and wasn't standard issue. Then it was lost.
There are other examples of lost technology, like Ira Graves brain uploading technology, or about 30 in Voyager, I'm sure I'm just scraping the surface.
