Spoilers ALL of season 2 online NOW in French!!

Flashbacks to 2013, when another animated spin-off of a major science fiction franchise had been cancelled at its original broadcaster and then brought back by Netflix, but the Netflix release got beat to the punch by the show airing dubbed in a central European country.

Yes, this exact same thing happened with season 6 of The Clone Wars, only with Germany instead of France.

Or, and track with me on this, some people don't have the time.
The only people who don't have time, and track with me on this, are the ones who don't have time to watch in the first place. A first-time VPN user with minimal computer skills can be set up and connected in under five minutes, and all subsequent connections take seconds.
Or a computer.
VPNs are also available on phones and tablets.

VPNs (and region-free players) make everything available to everyone. More people should use them but many don't because they think they're hard to use despite being extremely simple. They also cost just a few dollars a month and some are even free. They're completely legal, as well.

This release is unusual for not including the original audio, subtitles, nor even French subtitles which could be machine translated...

...at least on France.TV; does anyone know if the paid providers (iTunes, Canal...) have subtitles? None have the original audio, apparently.
Half the episodes have closed captions at least. I'm not sure why it's like that though, and if someone just screwed up and forgot to upload/enable them on some episodes.

Sorry but that isn't factual. Sure anything released on the web, can be accessed if you have internet of some kind and a VPN service. Not all media is released on the web.

Thus there is no 100% of all programming is available universally at the same time.

Are you serious!?

Yes.

Not to mention that there are places in the World were it is actually against their laws to use a VPN service.. Not any place I have ever lived, but it still doesn't alter the truth of the statement.

Are VPN's legal in every nation on Earth?
Is your intelligence quotient equal to the temperature of liquid nitrogen?

I very obviously mean that VPNs make everything that's available to stream available to everyone regardless of location, not that it makes everything ever made available, which should be implicitly understood.

By "everyone," I very obviously mean everyone in the (relatively) free world. I shouldn't have to explicitly exempt exceptions such as North Korea as that should also be implicitly understood.

Also, VPN usage is ubiquitous in almost all of the countries which have outlawed it. Everyone who can read this forum can easily find a way to watch the French release.

Might I ask why you are insulting me? Have I insulted you? In my 22 years on this site have I ever insulted you?

You're offended by the fact that I actually responded to your actual post. That I took the wording as literal, shouldn't be shocking. That is how I take all posts. As I have no rational means of determining any other meaning besides what they actually state.

And in fact, my post that you first responded to, was meant to be taking literally. And I am not going to insult anyone who happens to read if differently and call them an idiot for not taking me at my posted word.

And just to prove a point, I have been using VPN's since about 2008. So I do use them for both stuff I shouldn't and to access materials from outside of the US.

But there is a program in Canada, that has not been immediately available to the US (in fact for most of the last decade) hasn't been made available to the US legally in anyway (there finally was one way paying for a US service that had access for a brief time, that has no also ended). And illegal means weren't available for every episode. I decided let's use VPN. Well, guess what I still couldn't access the subscriber base to gain access. As it required, not only a Canadian based linked financial account. But also needed a linked Canadian based residential act.

It took me finding a Canadian through the internet who was willing to take my money (and use it in the manner we agreed) to set me up as a person on their account (one who could only watch, but had no access to change or see details on the account), so that I wouldn't ever have control over the account or the linked financial information. That took multiple attempts, over about a year before I finally got someone who was trustworthy and actually did it. Of course the specific season of that show had been removed from the service by that point. It was added again a year later (So I did get what I couldn't through other means).

But it took me over a year to get content from Canada even using a VPN. And statistically speaking it's highly unlikely that I would be the only person who has ever come across a similar situation.

Thats all in the free world and not having to travel to Eritrea.
