That one was super fun, the rendering was very good, and the effects of the impact solid.Unrelated to the first video, but also TNP-era and also cool. This one takes more liberties, but some cool ideas:
Screen capture to give you an idea:

Can they do it on time? The first one is beautiful. Simple, quiet and elegant. The second one, however, won't load for me. Says "Video unavailable - Playback on other websites has been disabled by the video owner". Seems to work directly on YouTube, though. Has a cool NuBSG/Abramsverse vibe to it with TMP-era models that are brilliantly rendered. These people really should be doing all VFX for Trek shows and movies in the future. They're probably a lot more affordable than ILM!![]()
Excellent job of matching the look of film (TWoK) in this one:
Agreed. I'm impressed how close he got with those renders, though. Doesn't seem like it would take much more to get them looking theater-ready.Excellent test renders. The comments about the camera focus diminishing the scaling is spot on though.
There were times the scale looked more like I was seeing renders of the AMT model kit rather than the original filming model or even a 1:1 scale starship.Excellent test renders. The comments about the camera focus diminishing the scaling is spot on though.
I'm surprised I hadn't seen this one until just now:
