"New Eye Studio" - Classic Trek fandom question

Hello TrekBBS,
I'm an old timer from 20+ years ago. Curious if anyone knows what happened to New Eye Studio, the fandom store from mail order catalogs for the 1970s-1990s?

I was curious about who actually ran that fantastic outlet and if that person (or persons) are still alive. I know they sold to Intergalactic Trading Co back in 2008, but never knew who was behind the hundreds of dollars I spent on their product back in the day. If they are still around, was hoping to send them a "thank you" for their contribution to the hobby.

Intergalactic Trading (with Cyrano the Dragon) survived longest. A STAR TECH worker cashed my $70.00+ money order and stole it (I was never made whole). They went under before New Eye IIRC.

GTC was great for Anime and hung around a long time—their catalogs were nice.

New Eye—that out of Syosset?

I miss them. Before my regular conventioneering, I bought ''blank'' VHS tapes from them which just happened to have specific SPACE 1999 episodes on them. There were audiotapes of similar shows as well.
