What are you watching???

Mr. and Mrs. Smith on Amazon. I got in three episodes and bailed out. I had a feeling where this season was heading and was proven right when I read about the ending. The lead characters were a pair of idiots who were in over their heads, rushing towards failure.

We binged all 8 episodes of Hazbin Hotel on Amazon. NOT FOR KIDS! The animation is fun and interesting and the characters are engaging. Oh, and they break into song all the time. And are played by Broadway actors. It's gloriously weird.

I'm doing a George Clooney themed movie week so: Michael Clayton, Welcome to Collinwood, The American, The Good German, The Descendants, Tomorrowland, and O Brother, Where Art Thou?
also
The Frighteners.
Stargate SG-1 "Ripple Effect."

Mr. and Mrs. Smith - up to episode 4.

I understand people not liking the show, it has nothing to do with the movie apart from the very base premise ( 2 strangers who happen to be covert agents meet and start a fake life together).

After 4 episodes i'm kinda hooked. This show is very slow, dialogue and acting driven aber both Glover and Erskine have great chemisty. That's enough for me.

I made it to the end. After a slow start, I quite enjoyed the majority of it. I will say though, as I stated in another thread, if this is considered a stand alone series, the ending was horrible. It could only be meant to be a cliffhanger.

I could handle the slowness of the show's pacing. It was the characters. They got lost in their personal relationship when they should have been concentrating on their missions, and it was clear that they did not know who they were working for. They took the jobs out of desperation.

As this is an Amazon Prime series, it stands a good chance of being renewed. If it was on Netflix, no, it would be seeing cancellation. This is one of the reasons I left Netflix - they constantly canceled shows after one season.

movies I'm busy with

Ant Man 2
Avengers Infinity war
Avengers Endgame
Kingdom of the Spiders
House 1
Godzilla King of the Monsters. the one that has Raymond Burr
Godzilal Tokyo SOS

then i find out that on Hulu, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing is going to expire. dang it i was just about to jump into that show
