Here's one that's fully cat-operated and motorized!

So Wednesday is getting fixed today.

We didn't do it earlier because initially she was diagnosed with feline leukemia and the vet told us "not to bother." We had further testing done, and she has the regressive type (not active at this time). So we went ahead and did all the shots, etc.

She's been in heat a couple times and we're glad she won't be suffering from that anymore. She was crawling out her skin, poor thing!

Our cat, Melissa, when just four months old, managed to create a folder on my wife's computer.

Seeing a suspicious folder on her Windows desktop – one with a name something like “nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnjp,” Mrs. M did some research.
Turns out that [Shift]+[Ctrl]+[N] is a shortcut to create a new folder in Windows.

Now, if you were to put one foot down right between [Shift] and [Ctrl], and another down on the [N] key, a new folder appears. I guess that if you’re not in an Explorer window, it defaults to the desktop. At this point, it’s waiting for a name. Now, if you were to lift up that first foot with the other still on the [N], you get multiple n’s for so long as that foot remains. A third and subsequent steps must have added the other letters.

Pretty clever, eh?

While the Mrs was away from the keyboard, our son snuck in there and added some files to the new directory, showing carefully selected icons for all of a cat’s favorite things, like cat food, toys, mice, lizards, shoe laces and the like … which she later discovered.

Wish I’d thought of that!

I'm told that cats like to sit on computer components (CPUs, disk drives, monitors, printers) because of the warmth generated by the hardware. Someone said that you can lure them away with a heating pad set on low nearby.

My cat ate twice and threw up twice today (second time had grass) so I'm not feeding him again. He really wants food though. I wonder what he's thinking when I don't feed him.

Do you have a can of tuna? You could just give him the juice and that way, he'd get fluids and a little protein.

So poor Wednesday came home from the vet yesterday looking like she went through the washing machine.

The cone she is supposed to wear for 10 days (WTF?) was off before she got home, and she destroyed it last night while we slept.

So keeping a close eye on her today.

My wife bought a body suit when we had Nyx and Nemesis fixed. It was hilarious and didn't last much longer than your cone.
