The corniest film you inexplicably love

Probably popularized by Tony Levin with his work in King Crimson and Peter Gabriel.

Thanks to Bill Bruford's autobiography, I found out that this version of King Crimson opened for Roxy Music on their tour in 1982. What a 'one-two punch' that would have been.

Crimson
Bruford
Gabriel…

Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Spaceballs are my favourites.
Honourable mentions go to Hudson Hawk and Demolition man. And if you really want a stupid movie: Encino Man

I really liked The Fifth Element, Highlander is one of my all-time favourites, and Demolition Man

How do you use those three seashells?

Josie and the Pussycats. The fact the climax to the movie takes place in a large area decorated with ads for the Sega Dreamcast is like the cherry on a sundae.

Given the fastidious and "hands off" nature of this society, my best guess is that they concealed three buttons. First button washes your nether parts with warm water, the second blasts you with warm air to dry them, and the last one gives you a puff of dry, odor-absorbing powder (since you're wearing a kimono in hot California weather, you're probably all sweaty).

In the book, Spartan asks Huxley how they work, she explains, and he is quite impressed and says it's much better than toilet paper.

I didn’t know there was a book of this movie.
That makes a lot of sense. Thank you.

I also loved the Airplane! Movies, anything with Mr Bean, and Paul (the one about the alien)

Speaking of ridiculous comedies, I always like Hot Shots Part Deux. It was a nice touch having Richard Crenna reprise the role he played in the Rambo movie it was based on.

This movie is corny as hell and incredibly dated for any number of reasons, including what we now know about the bureau but I love it:

I will never forget the look in the chicken’s face
(Hot Shots Part Deux Chicken Arrow)
watch

What is classed as Corny?

Maybe the Austin Powers films which are so funny.

Or maybe Good Burger (and Kenan and Kel), which are a bit cringe but very funny
