And the Next Cancelled Show is...

Letterkenny is ending. Final season Christmas Day. This one hurts. I suspect it must be a creative decision, with Shoresy continuing they are probably pretty swamped with work.
Love Letterkenny but I have to admit some the latest seasons have lost a little of the luster. I do think there's a burnout there and it's probably time for it to go. Maybe bring it back as specials if anything.

Not a huge fan of Shoresy, probably because I don't watch a lot of hockey. And TBH, he was a lot funnier as a faceless chirper who didn't need to be likeable in the least.

I think there are some more planned spinoffs. Show is filmed in my area, so we get a lot of news of what's being produced. The nice thing is that it's actually very local, in that one of the actors owns a local restauraunt, which I believe they film scenes in as one of the hangouts. One of our local breweries brews the Pupper's Lager, and scenes are filmed in a local arena, and at a recent hockey game, our local hockey team temporarily wore newly unveiled uniforms for the fictional Blueberry Bulldogs.

Slow Horses has been renewed for season 5. Seasons 3-4 were filmed together so season 4 will air... eventually.

Other than the changed ending in season 1 which did not work for me I've been really happy with the show.

Minx officially canceled (again). Unlikely to get a third season. I don't know of any shows that have had three different homes in its first seasons, do you?

The Magnum P.I. reboot aired it's final two episodes (including the second series finale) a few nights ago. Fans seem to have not given hope of another save though it would be much more difficult (struck sets, contracts have run out, etc.) It was mentioned that NCIS: Hawai'i has repurposed the La Mariana set and that it is unrecognizable.

Jay Hernandez is proposing a standalone Magnum P.I. film. He has said online that "If I’m being totally honest I didn’t love the show ending how it did."

Tonight, during Mehdi Hasan's final episode of his titular show on MSNBC, he said that he is completely leaving the network (previously, it was announced announced he was staying on for things like guest hosting spots).

Disney+ cancels American Born Chinese after one season. Ends on a cliffhanger.
