NFL 2023: A different shade of green for Aaron Rodgers

Dammit Titans....

Oh well. At least the Lions roared, haha. And every time the Browns win with Flacco (or anybody else at QB) is another chance to make that scumbag Watson look bad... and another chance to make the Haslams look like idiots for shoveling all that money at him.

All that guaranteed money at him.

Easily one of the worst contracts in NFL history.

Texans beat the Oilers, with Case frigging Keenum. I'm actually surprised the Texans won, I didn't expect it. Texans were missing a lot of players on offense and defense today, yet still managed to stop Derrick Henry. Guess the old Oiler curse is still alive and well. LOL

Steelers safety Damontae Kazee has been suspended without pay for the rest of the regular season for repeated illegal hits.

I said it once, I'll say it again. I wish the Titans brass would just stop it with the Oilers nostalgia. It's been almost 30 years, and doing it on the week that the Texans come to town is extra-crass and rubbing it in Houston's face. Not to mention the focus should have been on commemorating Frank Wychek, who was much more important and impactful as a Titan than as an Oiler.

I wish they would’ve just left them as the Tennessee Oilers.

And I don’t think there’s actually any such species of bird as a “seahawk”, in Seattle or otherwise. :)

Does it matter? I’ve never seen a Bengal tiger outside of the Cincinnati Zoo, yet here we are.
Animal names are different. Except for the Dolphins. If your team is called "The Dolphins" there damn well better be oceanfront property nearby. Occupational names like "Packers", "Steelers" and the afore mentioned "Oilers". are also a bit tricky to transfer. "Boston Cowboys" would just be silly. ;)

The Titans owe their existence (along with the rest of the AFL teams) to the oil wealth of Lamar Hunt and Bud Adams. So I think Oilers would be appropriate wherever they went.

Or Los Angeles Lakers?

Utah Jazz?

I know, wrong sport, but still…

The Raiders might want to rethink that pirate imagery. There is piracy in Vegas , but not too many seas. ;)
