Ironically turned out to be a villain irl

Timely definitely was an interesting factor in S2. I enjoyed every Kang appearance so far

Kang was THE best part of Quantumania, hands down. His scenes with Michelle Pfeiffer were the best scenes of the entire movie.

Plus Quantumania actually gave a story to Janet and didn't waste her like the previous 2 or ignore her like the Avengers movies did

I do hope we see him with his actually full power level

Yeah I think they did a good job with Janet. Cassie wasn't bad although needed more development but at least she wasn't nerfed

I got really into Loki, despite never really being able to convince myself it was consistent with some of the other MCU stuff.

I was underwhelmed by GOTG 3.

I rewatched GotG Vol.3 this weekend, and I loved it just as much the second time around as I did the first. But holy shit, I forgot just how brutal Rocket's backstory was. And as an animal person who is very strongly against animal experimentation, it really hits hard.

The animal subplot did hit me really hard. I'd say that part of the film was pretty successful if that's what they were going for.

But once that subplot was resolved I looked at the timer and there was an hour left to go. :ack:

I can't say that I know too much about the development of the film but I can't help wondering if it suffered due to the delay over Gunn's firing.

I bet it did. The shoehorned Warlock arc also felt like it was a moment of "Oh yeaaaah, I forgot I had to follow up on this. Well, uhh, here ya go, stop asking about him now".

Yeah, I had of course heard of him but I'm no expert on the comic book version of Warlock, not in the slightest. Yet the way he was handled in the film was like... what? And the casting seemed off, I was like, the kid from We're the Millers? Really?
