Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

I was actually checking magazine to see which ones I'm missing, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that I have more than I thought I did. I've got about 25 missing a mag (or in another language in the case of the ring ship) and just over half of those are from numbered issues.

I'm sure I'll get some on Friday, along with the upcoming Orville ships.

If they were cool about it, they’d send out the magazines to the customers who already bought models that should have come with them but were unavailable at the time. Just my two cubits’ worth. Probably will never happen.

TRIP TUCKER: That's a starship??? Where are the engines?
T'POL: I am reading a heptapolaric warp signature surrounding the entire vessel. It extends through our own warp field without disturbing it. Curious.
TRIP TUCKER: That means it can zip right by us and we wouldn't nudge a millimeter. That's impossible.
T'POL: For us, yes. For them, "all in a day's work" as you would put it.
ARCHER: Any response to our hail?
HOSHI: Completely silent. I'm not detecting any subspace chatter from them.
ARCHER: Try the adaptive semaphore. Maybe we should find a window and start waving to them.

That’s a fun photo series.
And I like how you underline how “indistinguishable from magic”-advanced the 32nd century ship is compared to the 22nd century Enterprise NX-01.
It reminds me of the novel Crossroad, where Kirk and co are dealing with the USS Savasci crew from the 26th century. It lacks visible engines, too!

"These are the Voyagers..."

KATHRYN JANEWAY: Captain's Log. Stardate...unknown. We have made contact with a Starfleet vessel not of our time. Temporal protocols demand we delete all records if its appearance and fly in the opposite direction at maximum warp, but I am torn. The ship's registry is too familiar to ignore. The Voyager-J. How many generations removed from now separate us? They probably know exactly who we are and what happens to us. Are they here to assist, or study us? Or have they become as lost temporally as we are spatially? I want to reach out to them, those voyagers of the future, but my duty is clear. It was clear to James Kirk often enough, but he seemed to get away with it somehow.

KATHRYN JANEWAY: I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Doctor were serving aboard. He could very well be her Captain!

TRIP: What did they cloak the pylons for? Nacelles don't float alongside the ship. Unless they're not nacelles?
T'POL: Their energy output is consistent with warp coil technology. They seemed tethered by a modulating interface our sensors cannot identify.
TRIP: It figures. The more they overthink the plumbing...
MALCOLM: It reminds me vaguely of a phase pistol. Look at that long heat sink in the aft section.
TRIP: If it is a heat sink. Why do we keep running into all these ships from the future? I thought Daniels was done messing with us.
T'POL: Quantum scanning has determined these ships originate from some time beyond that of Daniels. They may be here by accident.
ARCHER: Time-travel that goes a little caca? Reads like Daniels' calling card. But I feel you're right, T'Pol. Hoshi? Anything in the linguistic database that covers the word, "Nog"?
HOSHI: One hundred sixty-one thousand, nine hundred sixty-nine results across hundreds of worlds.
TRAVIS: When I was a kid, there was an old boomer who had an alien friend named Nog. Said the name meant, "Industrious One."

Magazines didn’t go up today with the flash drop, so I wonder if they will go up tomorrow with that “Federation Day” thing or with the normal Friday drop.

It was sort of noncommittal regarding “this week” with not a lot of mentions after the first that I recall. I have the feeling they may wait until next week since they will have had four other drops this week.

Could be. I wonder if they will keep a normal drop schedule with next week being a holiday week here in the US.

Did anyone take advantage of the 3 for 1 deal on Real Merch? I believe it's on for another day or so. Mostly non-Starfleet ships, almost all of which I already had, but I did get the Son'a Collector and Warship (already had the flagship) plus the Ferengi ship from "Enterprise", so I'll now have all the Son'a ships. Getting a large special for free isn't too bad.

I was after the Federation livery 1701-F but it sold out while I was scrolling through their slowly loading offerings — probably should have had a search function enabled. They said they had 130, so I was a little surprised it sold out that quickly.

There is a search field. You scroll through all the listings to find what you want?
