Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

So I made my first purchase from Master Replicas on October 4. I ordered a USS Valiant concept design ship. Is it normal for the wait time for shipping to be over a month? I still don't have the ship, and judging from the lack of tracking information or communication of any kind, I'd guess it hasn't even shipped yet. Is this to be expected or should I be concerned?

They normally ship within 7-10 days, but for some items recently they've been listing them before they actually get the stock in hand, which is a little annoying. I've never used customer service, but my understanding is they're pretty friendly and respond quickly to nicely worded emails.

They have been slow to ship for various reasons, including manpower shortages. But yeah, that seems like a really long wait time even for them.

I would reach out to their customer service. They are pretty nice and helpful. Or at least have been the few times I’ve had to reach out.

Just remember the time difference if you are here in the States or somewhere other than the UK.

There were some items that they are having delays with due to "warehouse issues". I've had one outstanding order since 20 September, with multiple orders made since then arriving already. You can email them at info@masterreplicas.com, I've found them to be pretty good at responding.

I had no idea...

Does anyone know a valid Master Replicas discount code?

Edit: NOV30

Husker sold out 21:01 o’clock.

It's nice for its size (about 15cm/6 inches across), and feels very solid. It was Eaglemoss's first special issue way back when they first started the range so the build quality was good but due to early instalment weirdness it doesn't have a stand, it just sits on its pylons. TrekCollective's review is here and I've linked some of their images of the model below.

Looking at Wednesdays drop list and what do you know, stuff I’m interested in.

Gonna take another shot at the Phase 2 Enterprise, last time it got sniped outta my cart at checkout. And price pending I am for sure gonna take a shot at the small DS9. But if I have to pick between the two, I’d rather have the Enterprise.

I wasn't sure for a long time, but I've now concluded that my DS9 (purchased from a local store last year or so) is an XL. It's marginally bigger (width of around 8 inches or 20 cm) and, more importantly, it has a stand. I don't typically get XL's, but in this case, I think it was the better of the two. The scale difference is so minor, that it doesn't dwarf the other stations.

As an Orville fan, I'm really excited for the Krill ship, and I'll probably get the new shuttle, too. Still hoping for a standard-sized Orville, though. Apparently, both sized were available last week, but the standard was gone in an instant, and chose not to get the XL.

I think I'll take the opportunity to get an 8472 ship, as well, if I can.

Huh... Never heard of this show. Don't have Apple+, so that would explain it. Looks interesting, though I just can't rationalize subscribing into yet another streaming service at this time. Not as much disposable income available now as there used to be only a couple of short years ago. Haven't been able to get any new models to fill in the holes missing in my collection since the Cerritos came out earlier in the year. It's been hard for me to watch these MR ship drops and being unable to do anything about it. I hope one day... :(

Tempting, the Jumpships are pretty gorgeous. Ooh, and prop replicas. The Prime Radiant is pretty spiffy. I noticed in the last Apple product video, one of their b-roll users had one on their desk; I'd wondered if they'd borrowed the prop or it was a duplicate. Maybe it was a prototype from this line?

I love the fact that TOS BSG gets some respect occasionally from mass market products like this, but with all the accurate source material they now have of the original filming miniature, why in the world did they go with the woefully inaccurate Revellogram version?? Couldn’t they have used the Moebius version? Even Eaglemoss’ version was an order of magnitude more accurate than that.

Looks like the magazines may go up on MR this week. They’re incentivizing peeps to buy them ten at a time for $30, versus $8 each.

Now I have to go through what I’ve received that didn’t have magazines. Hopefully, they’ll have the Bonus issues and Universe, since almost everything else is available via .pdf.

8 bucks a piece isn’t too bad. Hopefully they have some that I’m missing. I have alot of the .pdfs but I’d rather have the physical copies.
