The Worst Episode #3

Well, in #2 looks like JUSTICE was the bigger, well, #2, than MOVE A LONG HOME. Did you ever think Star Trek could put out episodes as, well, bad as those two? Well, yes!!!!...how about these next two...

Its another TNG/TOS battle. Oh we love those TNG/TOS battles don't we....

CODE OF HONOR (tng) vs AND THE CHILDREN SHALL LEAD (tos)

I think they need another Geneva Convention to deal with episodes like these...

Okay...CODE OF HONOR
"Kidnapped by an alien who wants her to become one of his wives, Tasha Yar fights for her own freedom and the welfare of a planet.".....About this time I was wondering why they brought Star Trek back. The acting on TNG was still, at best, as good as FACTS OF LIFE. Crosby does nothing here but look totally 'dinner club', and that's being nice. The writing, the dialog, this IS bad TV. I have only seen this episode twice, and both times I was glad I didn't have a loaded gun in front of me.

AND THE CHILDREN SHALL LEAD
Ummmm....oh yeah, this one..."The Enterprise retrieves a group of Federation children orphaned by a terrible disaster at their outpost, but when they show no grief and gather in secret to pay homage to a friendly "angel" who manipulates the crew, Kirk must find a way to free the children from the evil alien's influence." This episode is freaky bad. What were they thinking? The actors, ALL OF THEM, must have seen the writing on the wall. This show was heading down faster than the Titanic. Shatner-Nimoy better not have used this episode on their resumes. The only remotely entertaining are the flying daggars that come at the Enteprise. Have they remastered this one yet???

Okay...these are pretty bad episodes. You can see why TREK's image is sometimes not that well spoken of by non-fans. Who could blame them? Could you imagine being a non-fan and coming across these two episodes?

Enough...lets just vote. What was the worst episode. Code of Honor or And the Children Shall Lead.

"Code of Honor" is rascist? Sorry, haven't seen it for a while, can't remember much about it than the bad acting.

Anyway, "And the Children Shall Lead" was one of the first Trek-eps I watched on TV, I was like seven years old and it did scare me back then (I mean the ending, when this dude who influenced the children turned from a nice looking uncle into a real ugly guy) - and it didn't prevent me from becoming a fan.

So, yeah, "Code of Honor" is worse.

Normally, I would go for And The Children Shall Lead, but seeing that it's up against Code of Honor... My vote goes to Code of Honor this time. Probably one of my least favorite episodes of all-time.

Code of Honor "wins", because And the Children Shall Lead was (unintentionally) one of the funniest episodes in the history of Star Trek.

LOL, I agree. It was bad, but it least it was fun - just in the wrong way.

'Code of honor", er, wins the Worst Episode .... Pride?

Oh, this is a toughie. But And The Children Shall Lead is an abomination and must get my vote. Anyone see the reference to it in Zodiac?

"Code of Honor" is rascist?

It's not coherent enough to be racist. :p
