Prada played Porthos in his first thirteen appearances in season one of Enterprise, including "Broken Bow", but didn't appear after "Two Days and Two Nights". Prada was the only male of the three dogs to play the role, even though Porthos was male.
Breezy, a female, took over the role in season two because Prada was very placid, which was great if they didn't want Porthos to do anything apart from sit there and look cute, but they wanted a more "playful" and "active" performance. When Breezy wasn't available the role was taken by Windy, Breezy's sister, who was owned by the same trainer. Both Breezy and Windy had to have makeup applied for Porthos's black saddle patches.

According to SAG-AFTRAG (summer issue) stuntman and actor Jeremy L. "Jerry" Spicer , who appeared as an Enterpise-D security officer in TNG 4x03 (Brothers) and worked as a stunt double for Robert Duncan McNeill in the first episode of Voyager, died June 6th, 2023.
Actor/stuntman Ken Lally, who starred on Enterprise, has died at just 52.

According to the imdb actress Patricia "Pat" McNulty, who played "Tina Lawton" in OST Charlie X, died September 4th, aged 80.

Thanks to everyone who mentions these passings especially of the minor actors who are never going to get any mention in the regular entertainment outlets. Glad they get some recognition for their contribution, however small, to this mythology.

Kandel may be the third-last out of the three dozen or so writers....
Gerrold is dead to the majority of fandom after hopping in proverbial bed with Alec Peters.

I remember him from small roles in L.A. LAW and THIRTEEN DAYS, but he and Laurence Luckinbill were two of the three remaining cast members from THE BOYS IN THE BAND. White played Alan, the odd-man out of the nine-man cast.
Actor Tom Klunis, who played Lamonay S./Ibudan in the Deep Space Nine episode "A Man Alone", died October 23rd, according to the SAG-AFTRA fall/winter-edition (p. 62).
Another 93 year old Trek vet has died -- Jack Axelrod who appeared on Voyager passed away. Rest in peace.

Sadly, I believe we are down to 1 living director, 5 living writers and zero living composers for TOS.
114 actors (with speaking roles) alive out of 401. Youngest actor with speaking part is 64. Amazingly, only 3 TOS actors died so far this year!! That's crazy since the average age must be early 80s for the surviving actors.
