What other shows do you watch besides scifi and Star Trek?

Lately I've been watching Criminal Minds, so far up to the middle of season 8

The show inspired me I thought of a 24th Century version

While watching season 6 and 7 I had this idea for the show set in the future and invented all kinds of unsubs like the DNA killer, which was a woman.

Her method was to kill her victim and take their DNA thus a disguise was found but the team found her out because despite this she left small trace evidence of herself behind that she didn't account for, so not being as smart as she thought she was, plus her need to kill was constant as the disguises were never permanent and she would revert to herself.

Bob's Burgers, Abbott, Elementary, and It's Always Sunny are probably the other three things I watch that don't have some kind of SF&F element to them. I watched crime procedurals for 20 years but finally gave all those up last year.

The Morning Show on Apple+ is probably the only current show I'm watching that isn't sci-fi. Older shows that I like to revisit include NYPD Blue, Deadwood, M*A*S*H, and Knight Rider. I've also been enjoying the classic episodes of Night Court and Dallas you can get through Freevee.

I kept trying to convince my mum that Season 8 of Outlander was going to be set in the future instead of the past but she didn't buy it.

What other shows do you watch besides scifi and Star Trek?

Several:

- Blue Bloods (my favorite show of all time)

- The various L&O and Chicago shows

- Lots of Canadian shows, like Corner Gas, The Red Green Show, Night Heat, etc. Am hoping that the new Law & Order: Toronto will eventually be broadcast down here.

- Am definitely fixing to watch NCIS: Sydney. I really liked the New Orleans version, so that is of course why it got cancelled.

After season 9 I found myself losing a bit of interest with Blue Bloods.

I find the earlier seasons more interesting
