Thought exercise: One DS9 episode with an unlimited budget?

My first thought was what you leave behind but in the interest of mentioning other episodes, Die is Cast. That was the first time we’ve seen a battle of that magnitude in DS9 and most of it was in the ship. Would have liked “Call to Arms” budget with that episode.

The Emissary- make it at least a 3 part opener. More Opaka, more time with the wormhole aliens etc. With the extra budget show more of Bajor because I agree some culture immersion would serve the show as a definitive improvement. Make the ending tension with fleets of ships trying to claim the wormhole.

^More exploration of the Bajoran world and culture, I agree the immersion helps improve the overall context of the show.

Our Man Bashir. Don't put that money to good use elsewhere on something that would benefit the series as a whole, just blow it all on a full scale Bond movie

Bashir really, really needs a silver Aston Martin :)

(I wonder if he even knows how to drive, what with transporters and various sorts of aircraft and spacecraft...)

Sacrifice of Angels to show just a little bit more of the fleet battle.

Paradise Lost to show us a little more of the Defiant/Lakota battle.
