Solar Power company idea, get it now

Simple, convert garage tops, such as with solar, to enable quick charging for cars.

Sounds like an upgrade option for new homes

Sounds better than trying it on home roofs

People like saying free gass! Or electric gas..

Limited danger from heights...

I've not seen it... It's new industry potential...

Technically, except for nuclear and geothermal, all energy is solar energy.
Solar is solar, of course.
Wind and water power are fueled by solar energy, while tidal power is the result of solar gravity.
Fossil fuels and biofuels are simply solar energy, stored by either still-living things, or once-living things.

Problem with solar energy is that we can't maintain a constant flow of it. If we ever solved this issue, we'd have a six billion-year supply of clean energy.

The lunar tidal effect is about twice as big as solar. Is hydropower based on solar energy? I suppose the water needs the sun to get it into clouds so it can rain at a high elevation, from which the potential energy can be exploited.

Also batteries of whatever type (such as kinetic energy or gravity storage) can help get round the non-24 hour limitation. Solar is marginal in temperate regions and higher latitudes with short or zero hours of daylight for six months of the year. Put the solar collectors in space and beam down the energy as microwaves? That was suggested decades ago, but the economics have never been viable.

Hydropower is TOTALLY based on solar energy. All hydrodynamic processes on the Earth's surface are powered by the sun. Same with wind power: without the sun, even if they didn't freeze solid, air and water movement on the planet surface would be negligible.

Yeah, I agree. Nuclear power through fission is stellar power - the fissile elements originated with the deaths of stars other than the sun. Fusion power is an emulation of processes in stellar cores. If we could extract energy from rotating black holes, that would also be extracting power from the remnants of massive stars.

If we gained the ability to do fusion, we could just start a wagon train of ships between here and Jupiter. Its supply should be enough to meet our energy needs for the next trillion years or so.

Uplift mass from the Sun and it'll last a lot longer as well. We could also make stars from the extracted material. Reduce the mass by 50% and it would last for 50 billion more years. Reduce it by 84% and it would last a trillion years. We'd have to abandon the Earth, of course, as it would freeze.

Abandon Earth, use space habitats, even in the event that the sun turns into a red giant those can change orbit much easier than a planet...

Space habitats would do the trick. There are many proposed designs - the largest of which include the Banks Orbital, the Bishop Ring and the McKendree Cylinder, which have enormous interior surface areas, although none are as large as Niven's Ringworld, which required a seemingly ludicrously strong material for its construction (scrith). In any case, a few million years hence, what remains of humanity's descendants might well be living exclusively in VR, with robot servitors doing the manual work in what we like to assume is base reality.

Work at solar being everything!

Since it's a sign of the heavens! Or literal conformity to it!!

I'm not going to go on about radiation is the light and so everything too.. You have to be correct, you have to fit well and be pleasant!

Or it's complicated..

Ahh or aww at Solar..

Reminds me of almost a saying, you need compression and initiation of energy to make all weapons, so you make energy and you make weapons, it's an intelligent design...

Yet compression... In relation to solar...

Anyhow about companies that be started...

Feels like wind can be made into buildings...
That's more at the design stage...

Solar...
Usually, the cascading effect is what makes energy amazing...
So the first system gets solar energy, and then and into causing a secondary source of energy...

If I'd guess.. you add a gas to the solar, if which the reaction of the gas creates a substance you ignite with the energy of the solar, and the outcome produces a cascaded stronger source of solar energy...

Sigh, I guess science will have to figure it out, I'm more like strategic designs...

Oh well, cheers!!

Experiments...

So oxygen and Nitrogen let light and infrared go through...

Nitrogen is the chemical element with the symbol N and atomic number 7.

Because nitrogen sounds like a danger in gas, I wonder if a solide version might make a difference...

Then again.. how thin does it have to be..
Imagine atom thin.. or element size anyhow..

The discussion makes me superstition on the atomic connection too..

Next time I should just look up the science, indeed.
