The WGA and SAG-AFTRA are striking currently to keep both career options safe from AI in the future (among other things). In solidarity with the striking creators of our entertainment, this contest is about writers in TV and movies - as played by actors, obviously. Doesn't matter whether it's fictional or real writers. I'll also allow SF and Fantasy.

Every user can enter up to three avatars.

As usual, entries must be no larger than 200x200 pixels and/or 1 Mb in data, and have to be safe for work.

@the G-man , you do know you can have more than one image per post, right?
Yes. However, I tend to post them as I think of them, rather than wait until I have all thought up. Sometimes, that's one right after the other. Sometimes that's hours or days apart. Sometimes, I don't even enter the maximum number of times. It just so happened that yesterday, the ideas all came to me a few minutes apart.

Here we have a playwright, a journalist, and a historian:

Okay, but this time, it really is not my fault for being late. I wasn't procrastinating, I was actually in hospital and without a device enabling me to go online.

So, anyway, without any further delay, the poll is up.

Sorry to hear that! I hope things are OK now.
Thanks.

Quite painful for a while, but getting intravenous antibiotics for a few days made it better. Still not over completely, but now I'm pretty much without pain (though I'm still not going back to work for a few days, as I'd have to stand and walk all the time, and apparently my leg's not up for that, yet), taking my antibiotics in pill form now. Should be healed by Monday.
