Paris and Torres were one of the most realistic relationships in Trek history. It would be unfair to judge other relationships by their standard.Meh. I enjoyed Paris and Torres romantic process much more.

I don't think every character should be perfect but I would prefer them to be likeable. Chapel and Spock are likeable even with their character flaws. Chapel at this point doesn't know what she wants. That sucks for Spock who wants her. Then by the time she knows that she does want him, he's decided to move beyond all that malarkey.
Whether post TMP they are both in the same place is anyone's guess. They are both still quite young, around 40ish.
I believe she is visible in ST IV.We never see Chapel again after TMP, IIRC. In what may be the best jailbreak ever from 'small universe syndrome,' Chapel appears to have taken a post elsewhere, gotten on with her life as an M.D., and left Spock behind for good.

You'll have to tell me because I can't remember at this point.Hmm, probably so. I'm about to rewatch that one for the first time in over two decades. I'll keep an eye out for her. But she only appears in the background and not interacting with the rest of the crew, right?
Chapel's scene with Sarek was cut but that and sitting next to Spock does imply she stayed close to the family. It's a shame that she wasn't at Spock's wake in STIII.Chapel is seen a few times in Star Trek IV and even has a line of dialogue.
We see her briefly at 20 minutes and 38 seconds.
At 27 minutes, we get her one line of dialogue. "Admiral, we need that power to keep medical and emergency systems functioning." (Which is immediately followed by Janice Rand's one line of dialogue in the movie.)
Then, she's seen at the court hearing at the end, most notably, sitting right next to Spock until he joins his crewmates.
Fun fact about that scene. It is the only scene in canon that has all seven of our main crew members as well as Chapel and Rand in it, and it is the only time Chekov and Rand appear in a scene together.
Again, boring 24th century Fedroids.
Yeah, not sure comedy is your best thing.I didn't think so. Voyager had it issues but there were some excellent episodes and seasons. The worst??? Discos 32nd century is about as exciting as watching my cat cover it's pee with litter.

I believe Tom, Torres and Tuvok too.I believe more in the emotional reality of every single DIS character than any VOY character other than Seven and the Doctor.
