My cat uses the litter box just fine, but started peeing on the wall instead of into the litter, meaning no covering up and a big urine smell. Anything I can do to correct this? Technically he's not doing anything wrong like peeing outside the litter box.

My male used to "aim high" in the original covered box and it would run down the top/bottom seam (lots of cleaning). I later got a box with a much higher seam at the back so he almost always just hit the side of the bottom part.
