In my Kes stories, she has been given a human lifespan.Love! I remember feeling relief the Ocampa had the ability to extend their lifespans. I always felt terrible for them like mayflies. By most account I’ve read even long-lived people feel life can be too short but the Ocampa lifespan thing always bugged me.
Thanks for asking, I’ve been happily occupied by real life. Sometimes it’s stressful and sometimes it’s just busy- I’ve just been busy! Glad you all seem well
As for Cold Fire, it's my favorite Voyager episode.

Tbh I do a lot of head-cannon shuffling myself; writers do seem to like to torment their characters and by extension; us, the fans.

I know the feeling! I've seen Voyager 38 times and there are still scenes that sometimes spring to mind and I have no idea which episode they are from. It can be very annoying!

I kind of like rewatching epis I’ve forgotten, it’s like starting the adventure all over again!
This one is much more memorable to me, I appreciate how often ST looks at penal justice.
Repentance is such a good Seven episode - it was interesting seeing her try to come to terms with her actions from when she was a Borg.
Surely you can't wear Starfleet all the time, can you? Like 24/7?
