Welcome to the Trek BBS’s first ever Public Holodeck!

With this machine, you can go anywhere at anytime! Just specify the program you want, and you’ll be sent on your way! You can even interact with the program’s characters if you like.

We have only one rule… no “fantasies” of an adult nature are to be performed.

I would like be on the bridge of the USS Enterprise D. After that, I would like to go to Fair Haven. :D

Wow, this is like talking to a Star Trek themed generative text AI chat bot!

Next, I would like a pint of Guinness with Tom Paris at the Fair Haven Arms pub, whilst the Doctor does an Irish jig and sings a traditional Irish folk song supported by backing singer Seven of Nine. Tom Paris can then tell me all about his date with Maggie O'Halloran, and how he won an arm wrestlling contest against The Rock. :D

You visit the Fair Haven Arms pub and speak with Tom Paris over a pint of Guinness.

Aye, that Maggie can be a fair little lass, eh? We recently went on a date at the moors. We had the most bountiful picnic. On the way home, we were stopped by a burly man with lust in his eyes. He wanted Maggie to be his own, but I stood up for meself! Called himself The Rock and we made a pretty little wager. If I beat ‘im in arm wrestling, I could have Maggie all to me. I knew that with the firey love for Maggie beatin’ deep within me heart, I could never lose…and as it turns out, I didn’t! The Rock took the loss very well, in fact.

What would you like to do now?

@RoctorDobotnik , I would not want you to get in to trouble for posting more than 3 times in a row. Btw, have you thought about playing some of the game threads in the Red Shirts Lounge? There are also threads in there where you can introduce yourself and get to know people, with you being a new member here. :)

Next, I would like a group of Bynars to beam in to the simulation… carrying with them some urgent news!

(Sorry, I cannot visit it as of yet.)

Suddenly, a group of Bynars beam into the pub! Although some of the patrons are scared, Tom, you, the Doctor, and Seven of Nine are alert.

Bynars: “Hello. We come to this place because we bring urgent news.”

(continue)

There is also the welcome thread here.

(…continued)
The Bynars had inadvertently began a form of whole species artificially induced evolution after their entire planet had broken the warp ten barrier resulting from the human Donna Noble’s attempts to reprogram and augment their main frame ‘mother’ computer and their planetary thruster system with acquired binary, binary, binary, binary, binar…. Hhhh… Dalek technology; technology that was capable of moving entire planets vast galactic distances. The Bynars were now becoming Hexydecymalars through accelerated hyper evolution … and now they needed Tom Paris’s help, knowing of his personal past experiences with warp 10 like Salamander super evolutions from their extensive databanks!

Can you name every episode of Star Trek and Doctor Who that I referenced in my prose above, @RoctorDobotnik ? :D

Bynar: As you might not know, human Donna Noble tried to augment our mother computer and planetary thruster system using acquired Dalek technology. However, due to this, our planet broke warp speed 10 and our species is rapidly evolving. Many of our kind have become Hexydecymalars, and have failed to connect to our computer. Tom Paris, we need your help due to your past experience with Salamanders to fix this.”

What would your next move be, @Timofnine ?

Voyager’s Threshold
TNG’s 11001001

and that’s it.

Well, @RoctorDobotnik , Tom Paris would now need to explain to the Bynars in explicit and intimate detail about his past experiences with Salamander evolutions. Every single last detail, leaving nothing out….

Tom: Well, I had found a special type of dilithium that could power a warp drive past Warp 10, allowing for almost instantaneous travel to the Alpha Quadrant. Although some simulations proved disastrous, I had an idea I shared with Neelix. Soon enough, a simulation was successful and the Cochrane was ready for test flight. Although there was a 2% chance I would suffer life-threatening diseases, I convinced Janeway to come with me. But as soon as the Cochrane zoomed off… I could feel all the knowledge of the universe. I saw everything at every point in space. But then… the mutations began. First I became allergic to water, then I couldn’t breathe oxygen, and by the time we and Janeway landed on a swampy planet… we had become salamanders due to hyperevolution. We mated, and had three children. Luckily Tuvok and Chakotay found us and was able to find an antidote, turning us to normal. I still wonder how our kids are doing…

Now what do you want to do, @Timofnine ?

Didn’t Paris incapacitate and kidnap Janeway against her will, rather than convince her to go along with him? I may be remembering the episode wrong…

I would like to hear a whole new adventure all about the Salamander children next, whatever *did* happen to them? Did they develop sentience, I always assumed that they would have the same intelligence as dolphins? Perhaps they mated themselves and produced further offspring and developed an entire society and civilization over *many* generations? Perhaps The Lower Decks toon or the new Seven of Nine spin-off can explore this?

That depends.

Would you like to continue the current adventure with the Bynars?

Greetings,

This is awfully spammy, and doesn’t belong in this forum.

The Lounges are the right place to play games like this.

Closing.

Thanks!
