I wouldn't worry about Alex being the one to get the axe tonight. I don't think the writers have exhausted the possibilities in her character yet. My money's on Charlotte - there's nothing about her role that couldn't be taken over by the other Boaties.

Good cause I too think that not only is there a lot to be explored with Alex but her moms story still needs to be told. Her explanation about the research boat, sick coworkers etc is still mostly just on her word. That flashback needs to happen as well as whatever history she has with Ben. Sixteen years on the island and you know she's crossed his path once or twice.

As for Charlotte I suppose they could kill her and tell anything in a flashback they needed her for. They have said the Tunisai polar bear mystery is something for S5 so I think she sticks around at least this episode.

But on topic why doesn't this thread have more proof to back who your choice is.

Now that the forum rush from last night's episode is over, I'll say that the major purpose for the poll was to show them that I'm not the only person who finds Alex attractive. They both think I'm crazy when I say she is the best looking woman on the show.

Understandably, the women with the most screen-time are ahead so while I don't find Juliette particularly attractive I can see why she would be popular, as with Kate who while cute I don't think would have the top spot if it weren't for her being used as the show's primary sex appeal and the main female character. If Alex or one of the other minor characters like Naomi or Nikki were as heavily used as Juliette or as heavily sexualized as Kate I think we'd see a much different result. I also think Shannon got a bit screwed because she hasn't been around for a while and had such a bad character.

Either way: 1. Alex is hot. 2. I'm not the only one who thinks so.

In other words: I win!
