Good try. Nine out of ten for effort.
Someone got served like Phillipa Louvois....

Would that be with the exact same script (or some slight variations)? I think it would be fascinating to see this.Doesn't need to be with an unlimited budget but I do wonder how Encounter at Farpoint would have turned out had it been produced during TNG's peak (Season 5-6, say).

Oh ok, cool. For some reason I was imagining some out of continuity version of "Encounter" but just made in 1992/1993. That way you can keep the script the same without having to figure out how to change it for continuity, but on the other hand coming up with how to fit something into continuity can be the most interesting part. The past events of "All Good Things" almost give us an idea of how a better "Encounter at Farpoint" could go.I would expect slight variations.
After all, Encounter at Farpoint was written as the show's pilot, when both writers and characters weren't familiar with what the show would become. Characters were noticeably different: Picard is grumpier, Troi acts over-emotional, Riker is a young hotshot, Tash is preaching the Federation Gospel, and so on. Taken together it results in a somewhat an off-color experience upon rewatch, when you compare it with the years the show had settled in. It couldn't have been different, it was the pilot after all, but still, I wonder what the episode would have looked like with both writers and actors having established what their characters should be like.
Why would that be a problem? Worf only moved to DS9 after TNG ended.
