Strange New Worlds Costuming

No, new design

Did they ever show the others close-up, ops and sciences? Just curious if they were the same or not. Despite the logo having the command Star on the screen, the actual insignia Kirk wore didn’t. So now I’m wondering if all the crew’s insignias were identical and they simply kept the uniform colors to signify branch assignments.

Just for the fun of it I did a quick edit of a great pub shot from "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" but with the slight spin of how the 2259 uniforms could pseudo evolve into the later 2266 look. With that said I love Bernadette Croft's costuming work for SNW.

So speaking of costuming someone got a picture of the SNW costume display during San Diego comic con and it says that the events of season 2 take place in 2260. So I’m wondering if anyone who went to comic con has that picture. If so could please upload it

Which would place Now at about four to six years before Kirk assumes command.*

*I know that various sources give an exact year - 2266? - but that's not firmly established.

From the BTS video it looks like it was just a quickly assembled prop, basically the same shape printed and stacked but not real variation to it for different divisions.

Why does the dumpster say 2247? Romulan infiltration of waste management?

Kirk took command in 2265.

Or '64 or '66 or whenever works. We're not citing historical facts,

They haven't said onscreen that it's 2260 now, have they? I hope they're clever enough to avoid that. Not only is it unnecessary, the few calendar dates or even date ranges that Star Trek has ever established have been nothing but trouble.
