I was just watching on of my season six CDs and saw the episode where they ran across the Borg cube with the Borg children (Icheb and the rest). And I noticed that they beamed the Borb baby onto sick bay and the doctor and the captain were holding it, stating it was OK (Or at least the doctor said he had saved it at the last second). Then they switched scenes back to the cube and never mentioned the baby again.

What happened to the little Borg?? :borg:

Boy, that's maybe one of the oldest questions in the Voyager forum. An answer might be as enlightening as the reason for Janeway and Paris transforming into salamanders or the Seven of Nine/Chakotay relationship. (Hint: There is no answer. ;))

BTW, you can watch episodes on CDs?! (:p)

At least the salamanders and 7 and the Injun had some background/reasoning...The Borg kid was just blown out an airlock???

    Makes sense.

The Borg eye piece would make a good done-temperature pop-out thingy.

That was after Janeway found out it was a Cylon.

Was this really a thread that needed to be addressed in an episode? I always just assumed they find its parents or turned it over to her people.

Seems like you guys haven't payed attention the episode much....

Seven beamed the baby from the borg ship to sickbay on Voyager. Janeway went to sickbay (after the Doctor called her there) to find out about it. The baby didn't live very long though. Most likely died by the end of the episode or a couple episodes after that.

Says who? (Especially concerning "A couple of episodes after that")

I know the little critter was not looking good on the cube, but everything was sunshine and lollypops in sick bay once the doctor got a hold of it. (At least based on his attitude).

Well, they were trying to find the kids homeworlds... perhaps the babies homeworld was only a few hours away?

I think it manned the helm during Tom's off hours. Saved the ship from disaster a few times too.

I always just assumed because it was a baby, it was just recently assimilated. So it's home planet must have been near by. Voyager just took it home.

Well, clearly the winner of the last caption contest summed that up pretty well.

Neelix thought it would taste better with more Leola Root and Talaxian Spices. Sadly, those additions just ruined the roast and made everyone mad.

I don't think it needed a whole episode to resolve this story thread, but some kind of follow-up on the status of the baby Borg would've been nice. Instead we're just left wondering what happened. All people have are suppositions and theories. Those aren't answers! We really don't know what happened.

There are many unanswered questions in Trek, but I think the producers leave them unanswered for a reason. And that's us...the fans! I guess we all wonder about these things sometimes, trying to find a logical answer. Everyone of us has an answer...our theory!:techman:

What? Are you saying they didn't address the infant's fate on purpose? Please tell me you are not THAT naive!
