Watching the French Open and the crowd was loud and rambunctious. They finally shut up during play, but had to be told to quiet down like 100 different times. I don't remember tennis crowds being like this. Is it something recent? Or just in France?

Been going on as long as I've been watching tennis. Probably changed more with Agassi and then Nadal and Federer and Djokovic as the energy and intensity of those personalities and rivalries added to it. And those are just off the top of my head, but there are other players who brought a different intensity to tennis that it became more common than just McEnroe.

Tony Randall and Anthony Quinn each had two kids in their 70s. Robert De Niro just a had a kid. Something about celebrities getting married and divorced a lot and needing to have offspring every time.
