Wow! I am so glad this will see the light of day! Star Trek: Online (God bless her) sucks the air out of the room for other games most of the time.
I am thinking of getting the PS(5) version. I don't even care about the Epic store thing, I've just been on console more lately. Anyone else have a preferred platform?

Yep - XBox One Series S. Going to wait how kind the reviews are to it before taking the plunge.

Yeah I have 3 generations of Xbox’s in the house. I blame the idiots at Microsoft marketing for coming up with such stupidly similar and unimaginative names. The Series S is the one that it will be going on if I get it.
PS4. I can't afford a PS5 yet, which is why I won't be getting Jedi: Survivor anytime soon. Since many people are in the same boat (rent, bills and food come first) it will be interesting to see if the latter title being restricted to PS5/XBox Series S will hurt sales for the Star Wars title. 
Series S is such a great little console, and it has proven a little life saver when it comes to being so cheap to run during these mad times over here in the Uk of lekky prices going just up to insane levels.....and i also have the series X but that has not been used since last year as it would cost a utter fortune to run right now along with a 4k tv, 4 times as much as the S, which is usually about 50/70 watts to run a game on.
I love my Series S, even if it gets more use as a 4K Blu-Ray player and streaming box than as a console these days.
I love my Series S but I have noticed that, with long-term use of higher framerate and render-intensive games like Fortnite, it gets really hot. I bought a tiny fan and mounted it on the side of the dresser it's sitting on, which seems to keep it in good shape. It's relatively new and I don't want it turning into molten slag any time soon.
Xbox One S? Series S doesn't have a disc drive.
Yep. Had to dig my old BRD player out of storage when I got mine. Kind of a thick slice of P.I.T.A. bread, but it is what it is.

I've had mine for two-plus years and have run it pretty hard and had no issues even when it gets hot. It runs like a little tank.
