Most Annoying Character is????

I kept hoping that on one of the Maquis episodes with Eddington, that they would show a Jem'Hadar assault on a base and we would get to see Wesley mercilessly slaughtered in the most painful way imaginable.
Why would you expect him there?

Simply because of his taking in with the Native American people on that planet, and their hatred for the Cardassians. Seems like a natural breeding ground for the Maquis. I know there is no official canon explanation that they joined the Maquis, but thats what I like to think would have happened.

Plus the Jem'Hadar are excessively violent :techman:

^ I just think that "Journey's End" rather suggests that Wesley went on to travel to "other planes of existence". That's why I'm wondering how he would still be there on Dorvan V.

Star Trek - Yeoman Janice Rand
Star Trek: The Next Generation - Commander William T. Riker, Counselor Deanna Troi, Doctor Beverly Crusher, Wesley Crusher, Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge, Lwaxana Troi
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Lt. Commander Jadzia Dax, Lwaxana Troi
Star Trek: Voyager - Commander Chakotay, Ensign Harold Kim, Neelix, Ensign Vorik, Seska
Enterprise - Lt. Malcolm Reed

TOS: Chekov. Outside of his knack for launching into a blood-curdling scream when the plot needed it, what good was he?

TNG: Wesley "The Boy" Crusher. Looking at Trek's track record, bringing in a precocious twit was not a smart move.

DS9: Brunt. I'm a Ferengi-phille, but Brunt chewed on my nerves.

VOY: The EMH. The more they tried to shove down my throat that it was more than a computer program, the more it annoyed me. By trying to humanize the character, they ruined the concept.

ENT: Reed. He always seemed to have a stick impaled where it didn't belong.

Wesley was annoying, not so much as a character but the way the writers wrote him.

Similarly, I don't get the Malcolm Reed love. He spent more time whining during the first two seasons than anything else. Give me a fucking break! I mean, they gave Mayweather less lines each week just so we could get more Maclolm whinging? No thanks.

Harry Kim also grated on my nerves, but only because they never gave him any kind of characterization or growth. He was always "the kid" (You know you've got a problem when Neelix is less annoying than you!) The general Mary-Sue-ness of Seven of Nine grew old quickly. Chakotay and Tuvok were both characters that had so much potential depth yet went nowhere.

As I think about it, I am hard-pressed to find a character on DS9 I found annoying.

Am i the only one in the world who cant stand Rom? Im surprised that virtually every other character has been named but him.

Where to begin...............
Picard, Riker, Data, Troi, Geordi, Yar, Crusher, Worf, Janeway, Neelix, Archer, Trip, Tpol. DS9 is the only modern trek that has true 3 dimensal characters.
;)

Chakotay. He was more devoid of emotion than Data or Spock, yet he was supposed to be a passionate resistance fighter like Major Kira. He just phoned it in every week and collected his paycheck.

Seriously, Naomi Wildman! Somebody shove that kid out an airlock! All in all, a good argument in favor of birth control!

I second Lwaxana and Naomi Wildman.

Also, I cringed whenever the Doctor started using technobabble puns, most ESPECIALLY in song.
