Spoilers Ready Room with Wil Wheaton

I did enjoy this week's ready room (I don't always borhern with it as it's often a hassle to find and watch on an actual tv. Casting from my phone is hit and miss.

I was slightly annoyed by something in the narration for the NX-01 segment though. They referred ti Trip as "Trip Tucker III"... who wrote that bit? Do they not get that it's Charles Tucker III or just Trip Tucker? It's not even a Trek continuity thing, it's a naming convention.

Yep, I'm being nitpicky about a minor thing, but it is the sort of detail that makes me double facepalm.

Seeing Wil and Michael Okuda on that set really did make me smile though, as did the interview.

They also called Hoshi a Lieutenant Commander.
Which isn't 100% incorrect, In a Mirror Darkly's Bio said she retired at that rank, but she was an ensign during the entire series.

The writer probably just looked up her Memory-Alpha page.

Yeah, I'd already read that one on here, so I was prepared for it.

How many people in the wider public know about that particular naming convention, though, if we're being honest?

Great episode. Loved the tear-jerking bridge tours, and the interviews. Would like to have seen more action in Jupiter's Red Spot after a few centuries.

Yes, but the one in Season One was meant to be Ten Forward.

I was wrong, there is a centred window in Season 1. But it's still not the season 1 model.

Or if it is, it has been modified. The windows are closer together.

Nitpicking! Nitpicking is our business. That’s what a message board is all about. That’s why we’re aboard her!

OH THATS GOOD.

I haven't been watching the RRs this season, but I may have to find the time for this one.
This was the first RR I think I completely watched for this season, and it was at first nice to see Wheaton toning down his syrupy delivery and second to really enjoy the installment overall. I may go back to watch the other RRs for this season.
