Looks like they're off to do some shooting in Bulgaria soon. They might be going back to the studio which has permanent New York street sets where they shot the Christmas Special I always forget exists.
Chibnall expects his stories to be contradicted but is fine with that https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/sci-fi/doctor-who-chris-chibnall-contradicted-newsupdate/
Damn. I could've sworn it had been reported that he had finished filming already. I guess someone jumped the gun on that claim.Bit of sad but not unsurprising news. DT confirmed at a convention that Bernard Cribbins didn't get to shoot everything that had originally been planned for him.
Atomic.

I want to see that happen. The insufferable fans would melt.Plot twist: RTD doubles down on the Timeless Child. The internets implode.
Indeed. I love a good portion of her run (even certain parts of The Flux season). I should revive my Thirteenth Doctor appreciation thread now that we've had some space from it.Actually, Chibnall's run of episodes was pretty good, until Covid caused a lot of difficulties. A refreshing change of pace from Moffat's overly contrived arcs.
Considering how much she loves the role, I would be very surprised if she didn't. Especially since her friend and former co-star David Tennant is such a big fan of Big Finish, before and after his run (and then before again and presumably after again).I hope Jodie Whittaker does some Big Finish audios someday.
Quite right. I really do think some fans have really short-attention spans, poor memory, or simply refuse to see how the past played out. All of this has happened before and all of this will happen again.I don't know if RTD will feel the need to undo anything. When he was running things the first time, fans didn't know if RTD would include Paul McGann's Eighth Doctor as a valid part of the series -- or even if he could, given that the TV movie wasn't a regular BBC production. And some fans remembered RTD's TV series Queer as Folk, in which one of the main characters lists the actors who've played Doctor Who and ends on Sylvester McCoy. The other asks, what about Paul McGann? And they both say in unison, "Paul McGann doesn't count." So when McGann references started showing up in RTD's Who, it was a big deal. He respected what had come before. Maybe he'll continue to respect what's come before. One obvious way is just not bothering to do any stories about the Doctor's distant past and origins. The original series barely touched on that in 26 years, so it doesn't really have to come up any time soon.
Well, yes, that's true, but it's also important to remember that John Hurt happened only because Christopher Eccleston wouldn't return, which forced Moffat's hand to create The War Doctor in the first place. The Timeless Child does provide a means for bringing in another celebrity guest appearance as a previously unknown former Doctor, which I'm sure someone will want to do again at some point.
