Spoilers The thing in bay 12

E was a warship, very anti-trek core message. D was exploration. F goes back to exploration with it's combined warp drive, and slipstream drive.

It also only looks good from higher angles. From head on and below is kind of squat and ugly (I don't like the neckless look) and from the side it looks like the SeaQuest with nacelles.

I expect if the F was in a show of it's own or had a few movies I'd probably learn to love it but with the limited screentime it's had I just don't like the design.

The F has this weird thing that a lot of modern SF ships seem to (including the Cerritos)...it's the hole in the middle between the saucer and the drive section. I don't get why it's there and it makes the ship look weird. Plus, imagine in an emergency and you need to get from the bridge to engineering (or vice versa) and the damn turbo lift has to go down, then allllllllll the way to the port or starboard, and then down, and then back to the middle again. It just seems like the hole is there because people were like "hmmm how can I make this one look different and kewl I know what if there's a hole in the middle!"

The E-E was designed to look fast and evoke the image of a combined 24th century Constitution/Excelsior class

It's the same situation we had after Disco S2. You don't build such a nice bridge set and then never use it again. It led to SNW...
And they can modify the D bridge into whatever the Ross bridge might look like, or a new Nebula, or a New Orleans... :D
It's in the wrong city and it would be cheaper to rebuild then it would be to tear it down, ship it 2,500 miles, and rebuild it.

You can say I'm weirdo but to me the most beautiful and impressive version of the Enterprise-D ship is the one from season 1 of Picard. Man it looks so real and metallic:

And this is from the last episode:

I guess the question is; how did Starlet end up with a spare Galaxy class star drive section?
A ship damaged during the Dominion War that was parted out and then used for restoration purposes as a museum piece since full functionality would not be required. Then Geordi slowly repaired it as a passion project. The rest, as they say, is history.
Nope both Maya.
And Tobias Richter did it. I doubt he lost it
Then they just hate fans.
