Spoilers The Mandalorian Season 3

Anyone else notice that the little joysticks on IG-12 look suspiciously like Grogu's favourite ball from the Razorcrest? No wonder he was so instantly enamoured with it!
Oh, of course. I knew that visual looked familiar. Brilliant! :D
Also: same energy!
Thought there was even a hint of romance (ugh) when he addressed her as Lady ... (but maybe that's a general SW/royalty thing I'm not aware of)
I'd call that a radical interpretation of the text. Nothing about that was meant to be romantic. Genuine and heartfelt; yes, but that's not the same thing.
Also, addressing her as 'Lady Kryze' is a sign of respect, NOT affection. It's her proper mode of address. It's also the first time he's used it, and does so right after saying how station and bloodlines doesn't mean anything to him. It couldn't be any more clear than that.
IMO Season 2 (droid) darktroopers were much harder to beat than than this season 3 version - was it mentioned what was inside? are these droids/humans/clones?
The implication was that they're clones. There were even strandcasts kept in tanks next to their armour when Gideon was rolling up to his Legion of Zoom Call. The goal seems to be for them to also be force sensitive, but he needs Grogu & Pershing's research to crack that. He may even want to reverse engineer the darksaber.

Plus it's Xander Berkley. He's always good no matter what material they give him. Last thing I saw him in was Walking Dead. I am thrilled he's who they got for Pellaeon
I was certainly surprised when I saw Berkley's name in the credits. I did not realize that was him while watching that scene.

Meanwhile, an actor I did recognize this week, Charles Parnell, the Captain of the survivors on Mandalore. I remember Parnell as Master Chief Jeter on The Last Ship.

I noticed that immediately! I broke out into a big grin when he immediately latched onto them. :D

YES. :D

I'll allow it. [/Ben Chang]

I don’t know how you would do a romance with someone who won’t take his helmet off. It’ll be very awkward. :)

Grogu spamming yes/no was cute.

Fang fighters! First live action appearance. Hopefully we get a better look next week.

Turns out those TIEs from a few weeks back were indeed based on Mandalore. Loved the Interceptors hanging like bats (or the old vulture droids).

We finally get some idea of Gideon's plan. And it's basically to steal everybody else's gimmick. Beskar and gadget equipped, Force sensitive clone Super Commandos. Overkill? Probably. But fits his personality.

Next week looks to the Battle of Mandalore. Things not looking good for Din. Grogu to the rescue? Will the Republic arrive to help? Teva and Zeb ftw!

Does it feel to anybody else like they are setting up Kane to be a kind of Mara Jade analogue? If they kill off Gideon she'll basically be in the same place Mara was after the Emperor died. Maybe just wishful thinking, particularly when Elia Kane happens to also be two four letter names. Now I'm seeing conspiracies everywhere. :p

Very much looking forward to the conclusion.

I would had his helmet come off before he died. Give the guy underneath some face credit.
