I was sick to death of all the annoying applications and all the crap spam I was getting from facebook. I haven't deleted my account but I've deleted everything off it and basically am only using it to msg friends who i've reconnected with on their. But the rest of it seems like so much flotsam and jetsam. Also the fact that both my partner and I have had our exes msg us on facebook asking "so how are you" when frankly we were quite happy with not having them in our lives any more.

I still have my facebook account, but I haven't logged on in months. It gets annoying, I find, especially with those applications these days. It all went to hell when high school kids could register. All of a sudden, people I did NOT want to hear from could get a facebook account and bug me. Meh. Hopefully you will enjoy it more than I have.

I'm not a big fan of applications either, but I do have a select few. It's easy to ignore requests and all that so I don't have a big problem with them. I just personally don't like them.

I created a Facebook account a few months back and we really into it. Now it bores the hell out of me, and I'm fed up with all the spam from the applications. It's handy to keep in touch with friends overseas but that's about it.

I didn't feel comfortable joining because of the "college students" part of the name. I don't want people getting the wrong idea when they see it on their news feed that I joined such a group. Take that out of the name, and I'll join up.
