March / April Challenge: The Morning After

Challenge Title: The Morning After
Challenge Period: Through Wednesday, April 26.
Voting = Thursday, April 27 - Sunday, April 30.

Time Period: Any Trekverse
Trekverse: Any
Characters: Franchise or original, no limits

Challenge: Two (or three or more) characters, under the influence of some intoxicant (legal, illegal or telepathic/empathic), got it together and had a magnificent night together. But on waking, one (or more) of them is having regrets. Why? And what do they do about it?

Short is probably better than long.

Funny, sad, naughty, erotic, dramatic, but no pron, please. (Funny has a tendency to win.)

I'm really hoping you put in an entry. This challenge has Hawku written all over it...

Yeah... It's got Cobalt Frost written all over it too...

 

Yeah, I kind of want to do that now. Might be a slight deviation, but a Cliff Notes version of trying to find a lost groom.

 

The ideas are just flashing by, each further from the last than the next. My mind is sort of like a wheel-o-fortune, a wildly spinning space station, where it stops, nobody knows. I'll let it spin for a bit, then see where it falls and who gets to win and who loses their bet.

That sounds awesome...

There was a great sci-fi short story called "Tentacles" in which an alien researcher, disguised as a human, would lose control over his form and his tentacles wold come out when he was stimulated - which led to a religious following that chased him all over Earth trying to get him to transform - it was a riot.

I have an old chapter of "Everything Happens To Me" that would seem to almost fit the requirements, oddly enough. But as it's already been posted on fanfiction.net years ago...

 

In my opinion, that would be a qualifying entry, particularly if you have to re-work it for the purposes of the challenge.

But I'm not the rule-maker. Count Zero is more or less the moderator of the challenge series. Count? Would this one count?
