His musical scores for this season have been incredible. Just a pure throwback to traditional Trek music, mixed in with modern action and suspense cues. His usage of Horner’s and Goldsmith’s cues have been spot on.

Hopefully he gets a chance to do other Trek projects in the future.

The music, combined with Matalas’ writing, have made this probably the best Trek since DS9.

I *cannot* wait for this seasons soundtrack release. I hope that they also sell a physical CD version, I like to ‘own’ something rather than subscribe.

I would also like a complete Picard season 1-3 collection set but the first two seasons were very hit and miss.

We are all also *still* waiting for the Strange New Worlds release. :shifty:

It’s a shame that Stephen did not make a Seven of Nine character theme. Perhaps he can in a spin-off?
Worf has a bit of a (legacy) theme going on though, as does the Titan itself. I like it when we can associate the music or particular musical cues with individual characters or events. The soundtrack of a series helps to tell the story just as much as the writers, actors, sets and special effects do. I can relive entire Star Trek movies and episodes in my head just by listening to the scores. Hopefully the Picard season 3 soundtrack will have this same effect. I have never seen 12 Monkeys but the music linked to is quite beautiful and cinematic.

We should get Picard season 3 released in a month or so I think. Terry said it would be released before the end of the season. :techman:
