Disco Ending In 2024

So what I'm hearing is your all a bunch of Midnight Edge fans? :ack::razz::beer:

Kidding a side, I did say RUMOURS, take it with a pinch of salt.

And honestly I mostly watch Midnight's Edge mostly for Paul Chato, Kamran Pasha, Latino Slant, Mexican Ironman. Rare occasional when he's on Critical Drinker.

I really doubt the Section 31 show gets made. I have said this since it was announced. I predict they keep SNW for another season or two, and the toons for as long as they are cheap. Honestly they should be doing irregular miniseries.
I don't hold out much hope for Starfleet Academy either.

I don't think Discovery will be replaced.
Agreed. If this is all about Paramount savings money, it doesn't make much sense to cancel one expensive show only to start another. I could see a spinoff of Picard coming in the future, but I would be willing to bet they let SNW run solo for awhile as the only live action show.

Yeah, plus this stuff takes ages to make. Even if somewhere in a Paramount office today someone whispered 'give Matalas the keys to another show', we might not be seeing that show on our televisions for years.

This would be a great idea, Terry is less controversial then Kurtzman, could along with Akiva reunite the fandom.

But now I'm hearing from Script Doctor on Midnight's Edge After Dark, that all of New Star Trek could be shit canned, SNW, Prodigy, Lower Decks, although Akiva could save Strange New Worlds because he owns his own production company.

I think the future of Star Trek could be hanging by a thread named Akiva right now. Maybe Terry and Akiva could team up as a kind of James Gunn/pre phase 4 Kevin Feige to save Star Trek from being cancelled completely.

SNW is way to popular to be canceled. Come on man.

And if they're trying to save money, good luck have having Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine on your Titan show. And if she's not there, that's 50% of your show's appeal gone right there.

Yup.

Any new show will be cheaper, using younger stars.

No offense to Jeri Ryan, I've actually enjoyed seeing her back in Trek these last few years, but I cannot imagine she's that expensive. I mean, it's not like she's some super high in demand actress. One look at her IMDB tells us that much. She's a working television actress.
