Security Forcefield

Greetings TNG folks!
Does anyone know of any earlier appearance of the Security Forcefield in the Enterprise-D's corridors than season 3's "The Bonding"...? I feel like might be one, but I'm drawing a blank.

Both of those are after The Bonding.

Maybe it was used in The Dauphin or The Outrageous Okona? I'd check if TNG was still on Netflix and I had time to waste.

I might check Datalore or Heart of Glory but I don't think they used forcefields.

There is indeed a forcefield at the entrance to the brig in Heart of Glory! It's not quite the same as having it in the corridors, but this is would appear to be an earlier appearance in at least one sense - many thanks!

According to Memory Alpha the earliest use of a forcefield was in Heart of Glory.
TOS was toying with the concept as early as Charlie X.
In universe, the earliest use was in Vox Sola of Start Trek Enterprise.

It's not in the corridor and the source is from Wesley's repulsor device, but in "The Naked Now", it was pretty much the same as the force field we have come to know. I'd say that's the earliest in TNG.
