Spoilers Bad Batch Season 2 - This Fall

IIRC there are SAG rules about this kind of thing where a voice actor may be used for at least one, but I think it might be as many as two or three other minor roles in an episode without having to pay them more. That's how you get things like Blum playing half the Stormtroopers on Rebels, or Lanter & Eckstein voicing random bar patrons or tactical droids.

In the case of Dee Baker though; given the sheer volume of characters he plays on a regular basis, that probably does trigger a higher tier of compensation than is usual, even on top of whatever the negotiated fee is for top billing and being 80% of the title characters.

It would be interesting to have an entire episode of the show in which Dee Bradley Baker's voice was the only one used.

We came close to that today, with Omega and (briefly) Cid being the only speaking characters other than Hunter, Tech, and Wrecker.

I tried to find a list of all of Baker's Star Wars characters to see who could be in an all-Baker episode, but Wookieepedia's page on Baker doesn't have a handy list of his roles. They're listed by episode in his filmography, but that's too repetitive.

Today's episode was your pretty standard trope of trapping the characters in a cave-in to let their tensions come to a head in the crucible. But I like the way the show continues to respect Tech's neurodiversity, to have Omega need to learn to accept his different way of processing things, rather than treating him as the one who needs to change and be more emotional, the way a character like him would traditionally be treated in fiction.

The red clay desert setting was quite nice. Very distinctive.

If they decided to do a live action version, I'd cast Jim Parsons as Tech (assuming he'd be willing to do a Sheldon-like character again).

As for the episode released today, is it me or did these "mines" seemed to be something else, that happens to be rich in a valuable resource. I didn't see any evidence of infrastructure associated with mines, at least as far as I know.

Episodes 7&8: Really good stuff. Loved Palpatine at the end, making a rare Senate appearance to show he always comes out on top.
Episode 9: The scene with Tech talking about how he processes feelings was strong, rest was forgettable.

Phil Lamar has been the voice of Bail Organa throughout Clone Wars, Rebels and Tales of the Jedi.
Oh, I could have sworn I'd seen Smit's name in the Clone Wars and Rebels credits.
This last episode was pretty good. It was definitely a smaller scale, character focused episode, and it gave us some nice stuff for Tech and Omega.
Could that have been Hondo that stole their ship? It looked like same helmet and jacket that he in most of his appearances.

Put me in the pro-Hondo column. I can see how the character has the potential to be annoying, but for me, Jim Cummings's performance makes Hondo endlessly entertaining.
