Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 3x01 - "The Next Generation"

I saw a license plate last summer that read "CAPN 709" and wondered if they were a Trek fan. Could have been just a coincidence. Guess I'll never know.

Anyway, here we are. It's the final season of Picard and they've gone and done what they said they wouldn't do… A TNG reunion. Not complaining though. Far from it. Been looking forward to a "season 8" for over a decade now. Let's see how it turns out.

This may actually be the most controversial part in terms of continuity

Looking forward to seeing everyone back who's coming back and looking forward to meeting the Titan and its crew.

 

Not excited about the Titan. Should have been the Enterprise F. Some might think that's too on the nose but I would have preferred that. We'll see how they handle everything though.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing the old gang back together again, especially since they themselves seem excited about it.

 

Expecting the worst . . . hoping for better than S2. I'll be seeing it Friday, regardless.

 

I think they're setting up the replacement for Star Trek: Picard to take place on the Titan. That's why I think they have it there. But, like you say, we'll see.

If referencing the number 3 isn't somehow a super dooper secret Easter egg to all the Frasier fans out there due to Cause and Effect then you are not doing Star Trek right

 

Although I haven't seen it myself, I know many who have. It's going to be pretty amazing.
