WTF moments in Star Trek

^ as english is not my first language, i always miss out the nuances and stuff,
slang or a sentence with a certain meaning... things like that. i usually just shake my head and move on,
but i was a little curious now, what excactly do you mean by that?

i wanted to guess, but im affraid that i would walk right into some woke stuff that i dont understand either
im old...., i just learned about woke from one of my sons... people get offended for .. like nothing..right?

thanx. sure.... thats a moment of awakening?... i still dont get it...but now i'm moving on =)

Much of "Phantasms" was pretty WTF. Most notably the Counselor Cake (with mint frosting).

At least it was intended to be WTF, unlike some other moments mentioned here. I like the episode for its bizarre feel.

Also it's interesting his mind takes Deanna, when there would have been dozens of crew members similarly afflicted, including among the senior staff. A case of 'all males lust after Deanna, even the android'?

I have two WTF moments, and not in a good way, in the same episode.

"Rascals" - first WTF momemt, the flagship of the Federation taken over by rogue Ferengi in 2 rundown Birds of Prey. The second... child Picard demanding to see his 'father', "Now. Now! Now! Now! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW!!!"

Yeeesh...

The USS Voyager hanging on a Christmas tree.

Actually, I liked that moment. It was a wonderful nod to Hallmark, who did a new STAR TREK ship every year for many, many years. I collected them, and had enough to quite literally fill an entire tree. Always put them up for Christmas at our house. (I have not done so in many years, but they are all in their original boxes still. My mom and grandparents were always very supportive of my ST fandom... it was a tradition that one of the gifts they got me was that year's ST Christmas ornament. I would have been perfectly happy with just that for Christmas, but they always gave me so much. More than I feel I deserved, quite honestly. Best people you can ask for as family, or a human being. Mom is still around, at least, though I miss nana and pops greatly. Better people than them, extraordinarily few.)
