SPOILERS: New TARDIS interior leaks!

You just know we're going to see a lot of frenetic scurrying by Tennant and Gatwa along these rails... Poor Harntell would be doubled over by the time he reached the console, wheezing and groaning.

I like its retro-futuristic design. The simplicity of the streamlined console. Still not a fan of the central column connected to the ceiling--I always marvelled at the suggestion of great power suppressed beneath the time rotor. At least one can't draw a comparison to a clothes washing machine.

A happy bright control room again! YAY!!!

I really hated the last TARDIS design- reminded me of Stonehenge built with salt lamps. This new one has a lot of potential but I hope when it's finished it has some more personal touches added to it, looks rather sterile right now.
I had a chance to see Tom Baker's TARDIS set when parts of it were on exhibit in London's Museum of Science and technology. In America I had not seen the show before and the exhibit was a show and tell on how SFX were done. Fog machines, a device that shot spider/cob webs for set dressing, that sort of thing. Towards the end I was walking past a wall of hemispheres and found myself in a hexagonal room. Two walls were windows, one looked ouf into space with several spaceships in the distance, the second was a planet surface with aliens and robots. I remember the center console had a lot of plastic bits glued to it with tape stripes and rub down lettering. "Black Hole Indicator" was the most interesting one. It was several months later the local PBS channel started showing Dr Who and I saw Tom Baker walking around the same console.

As per DWM the designer of the new TARDIS was Phil Sims who has worked as Art Director on a few small, little seen indie movies called "The Last Jedi", "The Rise of Skywalker", "Captain America", "Guardians of the Galaxy", "Age of Ultron", "The Martian", "Mission Impossible: Fallout" and "Skyfall".

Yeah, I never heard of them either. ;)

Also Black Mirror too:

A couple videos are pointing to a specific color for the interior based on the recent leaked footage. I'm more of a mind that they can change the color whenever they want, what with the set itself being white.

Could be the color of the time rotor. The original coral set would oscillate between orange and green depending on the day.

Green screens don't have to be featureless to work as a chroma key.

I think ideally they'd have to be more featureless than that. Besides, we've often seen the TARDIS prop with a flat backdrop of the interior on the back wall, so there's no reason they couldn't put in a simple blank sheet if they wanted a chromakey backdrop.

Of course, these are presumably paparazzi or bystander photos, so there's no indication of what the actual camera angle will be. The fact that it's just the bare rear wall of the prop suggests that it's not actually going to be on camera. It could be that the shot will be from the side, and the dim purple light is just so the actors can see while they're inside.

Not sure if this is real or another mock-up but I note that the recently released photos of Tennant standing in front of a circular doorway definitely are on the TARDIS set.

I liked the sterile look. It's functional and expansive, and bits of equipment littered about for mapping or food dispensing and fold-out chair/beds...

It even had a style in the 80s when they spent a couple of stories exploring its interior.

The leaked photos are good start in some ways, but for all we know the white interior will be painted bronze, and the Cushing movie-style doors are still there. At least they have handrails for the headscatchingly-iffy ramps, which seem to be there more for looks and empty spectacle... I'd really be intrigued if there's ever a wheelchair-bound Doctor. But that's taking too much a risk, I fear.

Looks like CGI. Especially the first image. Even the second one looks a bit processed in post, and why he's wearing the Master's pajama-bottoms, I've no idea...
