@Midnight is going to flop so hard. Just cheap entertainment. That was a product of it's time and Hardwick said he voluntarily chose to end it.
I don't watch the show. I just know what he said. Apparently they put more politics into it last year because of the election but that's not the show he wanted to do.
That's unfortunate. I really enjoyed that crazy, wacky, insane show. A pity especially since it ended on another cliffhanger.
Uncancelled: Uncoupled. Netflix aired season one but cancelled the series, but season two is being picked-up by Showtime.
I hadn't realised there had been a second season. Unless season two had improved immeasurably, I don't think it's loss will negatively impact my quality of life.
I'm not surprised on Avenue 5. I don't think it got much in terms of promotion. The only way I ever found out about it was via word of mouth.
Not being familiar with the comedian in question, my first thought on seeing the title was, "What on earth is that??" On its own, it really isn't very appealing. I think it only really works if you have familiarity with the comedian.
