He achieved holding up production and loss of this fan's respect. On the bright side, he gained looking like an ass for putting more money ahead of his co-workers, so I guess there is that in his favor.

If you read the article, you'll see that he says those around him were proud of him for standing up.
Well, if you get 100 cups of coffee...
One of my absolute favorite episodes, so well played, all.
Not this guy. I enjoyed or loved most of the episodes each time it was revived. And there were a few damn good episodes on the same tier as "Jurassic Bark," most notably "The Late Philip J. Fry" and "Meanwhile."This is awful news. The last time this happened I predicted fans would hate it and they did. They expect every damn episode to be Jurassic Bark now....lmao..
I find that most episodes of Futurama still hold up well for me as long as I'm in the mood to watch whatever particular buttons they push, with some episodes being rewatched more often than others.
In other words, though likely with some exceptions, it could be argued that on balance, even a "bad" episode of Futuruama is still pretty good.
Turns out John DiMaggio didn't actually get a pay raise, but conceded on his call for better pay for voice actors on ths advice of his agent. This particular nugget from DiMaggio is especially amusing:
“But listen, this was the best thing about that fight,” DiMaggio said, “I had Disney, Hulu, I was holding on to their collective testicles so hard that they couldn’t, y’know, there was nowhere for them to go. But there was also nowhere for me to go, and who wants to hold on to those for that long?”
What sucks is that the versions on Disney+ are the cut down versions made for TV airing.Agreed. The only episodes I ever have a problem getting through are the four "5th season" 4 parters. Not bad stories, just a little too long. Futurama doesn't lend itself to the movie length format.
What sucks is that the versions on Disney+ are the cut down versions made for TV airing. So there are scenes missing...
