NFL 2022: The Fall of the "Immunized" Aaron Rodgers

Really nervous about the game tomorrow. I hope Purdy does well but that cloud of "mister irrelevant" is there, not to mention if this success is real or just Cinderella. Also, the weather is supposed to be pretty stormy (It's basically been stormy in California since the start of the year) so that should impact the game some.

Sean McVay staying with the Rams for 2023.

Mike Williams out 2-3 weeks with a nonsurgical back fracture.

Skylar Thompson gets the start at QB for Miami.

Packers say the ball's in Aaron Rodgers' court as to whether or not he wants to be the Green Bay QB in 2023.

As much as I hate the 49ers, and wish them to lose horribly, Seattle is no match.

Rans expected to pick up Matt Stafford's 2023 option bonus and 2024 salary for a combined $62 million in guaranteed money.

Charger collapse complete.

That might be enough for Dean Spanos to pull the trigger on firing Staley in favor of Harbaugh, because Harbaugh has made it known he's only going to leave Michigan for a team with a legit quarterback and a good defense, and he prefers teams on the West Coast or nearabouts. (If the Cowboys go one-and-done tomorrow, I'd also expect Jerry Jones to make a serious run at Harbaugh, since Sean Payton seems content to work for a few hours a week on TV.)

Yeah, I think Staley is done in LA.

Part of the problem though, I think, is Herbert. He reminds me so much of Dan Marino. When he goes cold, he goes ice cold and there is simply no way to get him started back up.

Buffalo seems to have woke up after the Miami defensive TD at the beginning of the third quarter.

Mike McDaniel has to streamline his play calling. There were times he was still communicating the play to Thompson with only 10 seconds on the play clock.

That was some Matt Nagy era Bears clock-mismanagement. Bills are gonna get stomped in the next round if they play like this.

Yeah. I'd say I hope that he gets better, but I'm not sure Stephen Ross is done flirting with a Sean Payton/Tom Brady team-up.

If the Bills don't bring their A game, the Bengals will run them over. That was a just a piss-poor performance against Miami, the offense only had 230 yards for the game, but got 18 points off of turnovers.

My Super Bowl picks were the Chargers and Eagles. It is at least half a whoops.

Good first game today. Miami gave them all they could handle, with a QB no one heard of.

New York Football Giants are looking good at halftime.
