NFL 2022: The Fall of the "Immunized" Aaron Rodgers

Really happy for the Lions, I just wish they could have made the playoffs. But the NFC North is gonna be wide open next year (I'm not convinced by the Vikings), so who knows...

Seahawks fans tonight on making the playoffs....queue gif of Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber "So you're telling me there's a chance." I'm trying not to get my hopes up, so I'm figuring it's one and done for the 'Hawks. You never know, any given Sunday, after all.

Texans fire Lovie Smith in a surprise to no one. That's two straight one-and-done head coaches for them. After Bill O'Brien and interim coach Romeo Crennel, the next guy will be their fifth coach in four seasons.

They’ll get the #2 pick, right?

The Bears won’t take a QB, so they can get the best one available if they want him.

The Texans are a mess. Again. LOL

It's a good thing that in my old age I don't take the Texans as seriously as I used to. Expecting them to do the right thing went out the window a long time ago when they made OBrine the GM.

Do you think winning that game cost Lovie his job, or was it inevitable?

I'm pretty sure it was inevitable. Lovie probably already knew that, and that it didn't matter what he did in the last game. He wanted to go out with a win. Lovie may be out of the NFL for a while. Lovie is a nice guy, but with the Texans roster, no coach would have done much with the team this season anyway.

At 1-6, I was frustrated it was just going to be another nowhere Lions season. I was so happy as a fan to be proven wrong.

Now comes playoff expectations and possibly new coordinators. Now is the real test.

Damar Hamlin was transferred to Buffalo General a couple days ago, and has now gone home.

Cool beans.

That's a remarkable turnaround for him.

I remember in 2019 I spent two months in the hospital with necrotizing pancreatitis, and then in 2020 I spent three months (between two separate stays) with a recurrence of the pancreatitis combined with IgA nephropathy in my kidneys.

The problem with Sean Payton is you're going to have to give up draft picks to sign him as his contract with New Orleans hasn't expired. The Texans have also put in an interview request for Payton, but I don't see Payton in Houston.

Lamar Jackson ruled out against the Bengals.

Tua Tagovailoa ruled out against the Bills.

Mike Williams questionable against the Jags.

Ravens give Roquan Smith a five-year, $100 million extension.
